OUR HISTORY
Continental was established in 1984 as a boutique catering company with an emphasis on “made from scratch” fresh menus with a high personal touch from the owner herself, Denise M. Jermyn. Throughout the 35 plus years, Denise has nurtured her business and inspired a continual growth plan that has serviced some of the largest and most noteworthy venues and events in San Diego.
Continental maintains relationships with over 100 venues where they are approved to offer catering and or beverage services. In addition, they are the sole caterer for the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center, the Full Circle Ranch, and the Hillside Ranch Vineyard. They are also the exclusive beverage provider for the New Children’s Museum

OUR FOOD STYLE
We describe ourselves as a Craft Food Caterer because the essence of the word “Craft” is the “activity involving making something by hand” which is what we find passion and purpose in. Hand crafted foods that are a collaboration of flavors, creative presentations, and are curated to meet the needs of every event are what we are passionate about.
Every palate is different, which is why we try to have a variety that can fit any taste. Our menus are cultivated to be inclusive to flavors from around the world but if you don’t see what you’re looking for we will happily craft something new!

Planning an event can have lots of pieces to put together, but we strive to make it as easy as possible by helping to match vendors and decor to the concept we have created together. Our full staff is available to execute the vision starting with Sales Manager to gather details, Kitchen to create the delicious food, and Operations to make sure it all comes together on the day of. Our clients are our number one priority! If they are happy, we’re happy.

We support many local non-profits with sponsorships and donations so that they can raise funding for their most valuable causes.
We seek out locally sourced products and endeavor to support small businesses and those that provide the most benefit to the local community.
We work with local agencies to share the excess bounty with the underserved and most vulnerable in our neighborhoods.

Continental Catering has been our go to catering company for several years now for our annual meetings and our holiday parties.
